In a world that seems to be spinning quickly out of control we find it difficult to choose what businesses we are involved in, what products we buy and what television programs we choose to watch. It seems that nearly every aspect of business life has a type of darkness behind it. Businesses use young children from foreign countries to sew clothing for pennies. Doing chemical testing on animals to make products and natural resources are wiped out entirely. Television programs that are rated PG now carry hidden sexual innuendos and other adult humor. For those of us who are struggling to refrain from the dark side of business, the greed, lust and envy, we find it hard to trust in businesses in general.
The Demand For Moral Based Companies Search but you will not find the treasure that you seek. For the above reasons a business that is based on moral stands is hard to find, but when it is it is golden. You begin to tell every man, woman and child the treasure you have found. You become an unpaid spokesman as the excitement of a trustworthy, moral based company is found. Though companies say sex sells, there are still millions of consumers who are craving wholesome entertainment, healthy and natural products and businesses that we can trust to provide us with just that.
Knowing The Consumers Desire Perhaps new businesses and entrepreneurs should take the time to produce and take a survey to see what we, the consumer truly want to spend our money on. As we become more focused on our families, our health and our environment we simply want the best. We want companies who do research without harming animals. We want to know that the food we eat is not going to cause cancer or make our hair fall out. We want to know if a company says money back guarantee there is no fine print that limits us because of some absurd company policy that is set in place to save “ the man” money.
Possible Future Change In Business Morals If companies begin to take this information to heart and put it in place they would be truly amazed to see their businesses boom and their profits soar through the roof. Sadly enough far too many businesses simply care about the green. Money talks and they respond. They want to make a ton of money, today, right now and if you or I are not satisfied with the product or service they provide so be it. They will often reply with “there are a million other suckers who will buy our product”. Perhaps there will be a change in how future businesses are created and where they stand. Our hopes lie in the hands of future generations of businessmen and women and aspiring entrepreneurs. May we the consumers be fortunate enough to see moral based business again before we become grandparents? Only time will tell if we will ever get to see this appear.
